Vegetarian Food!

We always do some research on vegetarian food before heading out ( especially outside the US/India). here is a listing of the places we loved!

Buenos Aires
Arevalito
ArĂ©valo 1478, y Cabrera
Palermo Hollywood
They offer a fixed menu of about 5-6 dishes everyday. It’s completely vegetarian (That’s a blessing for us , Vegetarians in Buenos Aires) It’s a tiny little place. Seating is on the street. The owner is always around and bonding with her guests. Super friendly people, Super Yummy food. It was a little hard to find for us because we went looking for “Providencia” from lonely planet and it’s that very place that has changed its name and shifted location!

Granix
Florida 165
Vegetarin Buffet right on Florida. It's really close to Casa Rosada and all the other must-see attractions on Av. de mayo. The spread was to die for. It was around 30 pesos per person and the choice was infinite. Quiches, pies, pastas, salads, breads, gravies, rice. We ate like it was our last meal in this city.

Pan y Arte
Boedo 878Buenos AiresC1218AAR
Bread and Art. A nice Bohemian Place. Wonderfully decorated. Great  Food. Wonderful service. The waitresses wore these really cool turbans. They were really friendly, always smiling and very prompt. One of Kevins (our host) amazing recommendations.

Rio De Janeiro
Refetorio Organico
Rua Dezenove de Fevereiro, 120, Botafogo, Zona Sul, Rio De Janeiro,
They redefine how good Tofu and Vegetarian Sushi can be.  Even the anti-tofu, anti-Sushi Prashant, loved this place so much we wanted to repeat it. There is a sign, but you could easily miss it. It’s just a small door on the street you need to get into , climb a flight of narrow stairs and Voila! You’re in the dining area. It was around 18 reals per pax. This is a must-visit for vegetarians in Rio. Just visit their website and see the menu - it's incredible. I had my kid-in-candy-store moment there. There was so much choice that i was actually dazed and confused. We usually don't have more than 3-4 dishes to choose from. This was exhilaration. Wish they would open a branch here in San Jose.
